Pre-Orders

Pre-ordering gets you first dibs on a record before it hits shelves — but it also means you're in a queue that depends on labels, pressing plants and freight, not us. Here's the deal.

How it works

• Full payment upfront. Pre-orders are paid in full at checkout. That's what locks your copy in with our suppliers.
• First in, first served. Orders are filled in the order they land. Get in early if you want your copy sooner.
• Release dates are set by the label, not us. They can — and do — change without notice. We'll pass on updates when we get them.

Delays happen

Pressing plants are backed up worldwide right now. Add international shipping and customs on top, and "release date" is more of a guideline than a promise. Delays aren't us dropping the ball — they're the vinyl supply chain being what it is. We won't chase you with an email every time a date shifts by a week. We will contact you if there's a serious delay or something's changed materially.

If stock falls through

Sometimes a label allocates us fewer copies than we ordered, or cancels a pressing outright. If that happens to your pre-order, we'll get in touch with your options: stay in the queue for the next batch, get a full refund, or take store credit. Your call.

Artwork, colourways, tracklists

What's listed on the site reflects what we know at the time. Labels change sleeve art, vinyl colour, tracklists and bonus bits after the fact — sometimes without telling anyone until the box turns up. If what arrives doesn't match what you ordered, we'll let you know and sort a refund or send it anyway, whichever you'd prefer.

Refunds

Pre-orders are non-refundable if you simply change your mind — once it's placed, it's placed. If the title becomes unavailable through no fault of yours, you get a full refund, no argument.

Ordering pre-orders with in-stock items

Buying a pre-order alongside something we've got in stock now? We'll hold the lot and ship it together once the pre-order arrives, to save you paying for postage twice. Want your in-stock stuff now instead? Just put it through as a separate order.
