1107 2UW was a radio station based in Sydney Australia. The liner notes state: "This is the first 2UW Homegrown Album, released as part of our policy of promoting the undiscovered talent in Sydney. These 12 bands were judged to be the best of 200 who sent demo tapes to us. We think you'll hear a lot more of them." Unfortunately only 3, Replicas, Maree Cunnington and The Lonely Hearts went on to do any more recording.
